My dad always said "سوي خير وعقه فالبحر" which means "Do good & throw it in the Sea".. It's an Arabic proverb in our Emarati dialect.. It means that when you help others, don't wait for anything in return.. And that might sound easy, but sometimes a little appreciation means a lot.. Even if it were in just two small words "Thank You"..
I read once that..
"The Deepest Craving in Human Beings is to be Appreciated"
And ain't that the truth..

I definately feel this. Everytime I help someone in need, i never ask for something in return, but sometimes showin me that you appreciate it, worth so much more. Reagrdless if its giving out money or helping out with someone else work, showing gratitude can mean so much more. thank u for doing this post :) its a nice way to spread your words across.
