Review: Giorgio Armani Blushing Fabric #4

Although expensive, the quality of Giorgio Armani Makeup is amazing.. Their Foundations, Powders, Blushes, Eyes To Kill Eye Shadows are all so beautiful.. So when GA came out with the Fabric Second Skin line, I just had to try it.. And being a blush junkie, I of course went straight to the blushes and picked up #4...

Product

- Gel/Silicone consistency which I find is best applied with fingers
- Very smooth and light
- Blends well
- Applies sheerly but is buildable
- Non-streaky or blotchy
- Matte finish
- Shade 4 is a dark reddish bronze

My Final Thoughts: This is a lovely product.. Very velvety and smooth.. But I wouldn't say it is a must-have.. The fact that it applies sheerly might be good for some, but I like my blushes to pop.. So I have to apply a few layers to get the colour the way I like it..

Have you tried any Giorgio Armani Products?

Ooh! I love cream blushes! That color is actually pretty unique, as far as creams go. But I'd have to say I'm with you when it comes to blush, I want it to be pigmented, and if I want to sheer it out I will apply accordingly.

Agreed! A little bit too sheer for my liking and for the price!

I thought that this might be too dark for NC30, but your swatches convinced me that it's not. Thanks!

I always wondered about this one! Thanks for the review!

@Danielle - Yah the colour is lovely.. But I do prefer more pigmented blushes.. Thanks hun =)

@Alex Kay - Yah.. It's too bad isn't it? Coz the cosistency is lovely!

@Jamilla Camel - I'm an NC30 and it's not dark at all.. You can totally control the amount of colour you wanna have on ur cheeks..

@Tracy@Beauty Reflections - My pleasure hun =)

Have to agree with Danielle, I've never seen a cream blush in this color before! Hey you can always use it as a base for powder blushes :)

So, expensive isn't always the best then! ;) I have to agree with the others on the colour. It's certainly unusual!

@Makeup Look/Catharina - Nope.. Not at all ;)

@Rei - Oh it's a lovely shade #2 but too light for my taste..

No idea where I might pick this up but it looks amazing. I've been trying to buyer higher quality stuff and Armani seems like a good place to go.

@Eden-Avalon - Armani has really amazing products to offer.. I wouldn't really invest in this if I were you coz you just gotta work a little extra with it since it's sheer.. But do check out their blushes and sheer bronzers.. amazzzing!
