Hair Me Out!

So let's talk about hair shall we?

I'm very picky about what I use on my hair because it took me a long time to get it healthy again.. So here's what has been working for me.. And what hasn't..

*Note: All TRESemme products have been sent to me by the company and I did not purchase them with my own money

 S  H  A  M  P  O  O  S

 Lush Rehab Shampoo

When it comes to my hair, I much prefer natural products.. And Rehab is just that.. It gives me clean hair without the extra chemicals other shampoos have.. It's non-drying & the smell is ok.. Herbally..

Would I Re-Purchase? Definitely!

Lush Big Shampoo
I use this salt based shampoo once a week and I LOVE what it does to my fine hair.. It gives it volume and lightness that feels absolutely amazing! The trick is to only use this once or twice a week as it can dry out your hair.. But it's an absolute must-have!

Would I Re-Purchase? Again and again

TRESemme Anti Hair Fall Shampoo

You know how some shampoos make your hair kind crispy and hard that you feel the NEED to apply conditioner afterwards? Well this doesn't do that.. It lathers up really nicely and makes your hair smooth.. Well in the shower at least.. After a month of using just this shampoo I felt that my hair was drier and frizzier than usual.. Maybe it's the amount of chemicals in this.. But I couldn't continue using it.. And as for the hair fall, this did nothing for it..

Would I Purchase? Nope

Liante Apple Shampoo For Normal Hair

Another favourite of mine.. I have to always have this in my shower.. Even if I'm trying out other shampoos.. As this never fails me.. Smells amazing.. Leaves hair clean and fresh.. Only problem is that I can only find it at my Jean Paul Salon in Dubai.

Would I Re-Purchase? Absolutely!

 C  O  N  D  I  T  I  O  N  E  R  S

Tresemme Anti Hair Fall Conditioner

This wasn't as bad as the shampoo.. It worked pretty well as a conditioner.. Doesn't smell bad either.. Got nothing bad to say about it..

Would I Purchase? Probably not only because I love my current conditioner more

Liante Pineapple Conditioner for Damaged Hair
This I absolutely love! It's my favourite conditioner.. Makes my hair super smooth and smells amazing.. I've bought so many bottles of this already..

Would I Re-Purchase? Already have and always will

 H  A  I  R    M  A  S  K  S

Fekkai Protein Rx Anti-Breakage Treatment Masque

First this that needs to be mentioned about this product is that it smells AMAZING! This makes my hair so soft and untangled.. A really great deep hair conditioner..

Application: After I shampoo my hair, I skip the conditioner and I apply this on the lower part of my hair.. Never on the top as it can make your hair oily.. I put my hair up and leave it on for at least 3 minutes before I wash it of..

Would I Re-Purchase? Yes!

TRESemme Hair Mask for Extra Dry Brittle Hair

Hmmm I had hopes for this product but it didn't do much for my hair at all.. I didn't like the smell.. It didn't hydrate my hair as well as other masks have..

Application: Same as the Fekkai Masque

Would I Re-Purchase? No

 L  E  A  V  E - I  N    T  R  E  A  T  M  E  N  T  S

Lush R&B Hair Moisturizer

Love love love this product! I did mention this product my previous Lush post here.. This totally kept my hair healthy.. I used to NEED a trim every month, but since I started using this, I don't need to get a trim as frequently as it keeps my ends moisturized and healthy..

Application: I use this when I get out of the shower while my hair is damp.. Not wet.. Concentrating on the lower part of my hair

Would I Re-Purchase? Of course!

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Now this is one of the most effective hair savers! After religiously using this for over 6 months my hair thanked me! It left my ends healthy and shiny..

Application: I apply this on damp hair to the ends only! And once your hair is dry, there is zero oil residue and the ends look defined and just lovely!

Would I Re-Purchase? Always

 S  T  Y  L  Y  I  N  G    P  R  O  D  U  C  T  S

TRESemme Heat Defence

Love the ease of use of this product.. I spray this on wet hair and I go on with my styling confident enough that my hair is protected.. Smells lovely too!

Would I Purchase? I will

TRESemme Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray

This is an amazing spray! It held my curls for days without making them crispy or eeky.. Really good hair spray for those who are looking for something that keeps your hair looking natural and hairspray-free ;)

Would I Purchase? Yes Yes!

Review: UNE 100% Mineral Foundation

I love the whole concept of mineral makeup.. I love that they don't harm the skin as much as other cosmetics do.. The first mineral foundation I've tried is Bareminerals.. And as much as I love it.. I just had to give UNE a try...

Product

- Light to Medium coverage
- Blends really well that it looks like you're not wearing makeup
- Doesn't accentuate pores or dryness
- Gives a beautiful glow
- Feels super light

Application

I really enjoy applying this with my Sephpra Mineral Powder Brush in #45

Who Will Like This?

- Anyone who wanted to love Baremineral foundation but it just didn't work for them because of breakouts, dryness or pores
- Anyone who is looking for a very light-weight foundation
- Anyone who loves their foundation to add that little bit of a glow to their complexion

Who Won't Like This?

- Anyone who isn't a huge fan of powder foundations

My Final Thoughts: I LOVE this powder a lot more than my Bareminerals.. It doesn't accentuate my pores the way Bareminerals does.. In fact, it actually blurs them out! It also brightens up my face in a really natural and healthy way.. Been really enjoying this powder heaps! I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a mineral powder foundation..

Would I Re-Purchase? Definitely!

MAC Concealers: Studio Finish vs. Pro Longwear

I'm always struggling with concealer.. All I want is a full coverage concealer for both my under eye area and my face.. Seriously, is that too much to ask for?

I expressed my love for the MAC Studio Finish concealer here.. Loved that it's full coverage without looking TOO cakey.. However, I totally forgot that once upon a time, before my lovely sweet sister stole it, I really enjoyed MAC Pro Longwear concealer.. So re-purchased it.. And here are my thoughts on both..

Studio Finish

- SPF35
- Full Coverage
- Easy to blend
- Thick consistency
- Can look cakey and drying if too much is applied
- Slight creasing occurs when used under the eyes
- Dark circles and acne scars start to slowly re-appear during the day
- Must be powdered

Pro Longwear

- Medium coverage
- Liquid formula
- Easy to blend
- Dries to a matte finish
- Doesn't need to be powdered
- Doesn't budge all day
- Never looks cakey
- No creasing when used under the eyes
- Dries quickly so you have to work fast with it

Swatches

My Final Thoughts: Although it doesn't give as much coverage, the Pro Longwear has become my new favourite concealer for it's long lasting power, brightening effect and ease of use as you don't need to blend it as much the Studio Finish.. I love that at the end of the day, my dark circles are not peeking through.. Really amazing concealer.. I also love it for my face.. It blends in to my skin so beautifully..

Review: Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick

If there's anything that Bobbi Brown does, it's that she delivers! Yes, I may have dissed her corrector & creamy concealer, which I did like but hated how it creased on me, I still think that Bobbi has a lot of great products to offer.. And her foundation stick is just that... great!

Product

- Creamy
- Blends beautifully
- Medium coverage
- Luminous finish
- MUST apply powder on top as it can get a bit greasy during the day
- Not very light-weight... It does feel like you're wearing foundaiton
- Good lasting power
- Photographs well
- Not much product for the price you're paying
- Travel friendly

Applicaiton

- I like applying this from the stick straight to my face then blend it out with my Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush as it gives more coverage that way

Who Would Like This?

- People with Dry skin.. Combination skin types can get away with wearing this as well
- Anyone who is looking for an easy way of applying foundation
- Anyone who is looking for a foundation that gives a beautiful finish to the skin as well as photograph well
- Those who love a dewy finish

Who Wouldn't Like This?

- People with VERY oily skin as it can feel a bit greasy
- Anyone who prefers a Matte finish

My Final Thoughts: I find that this is one of those foundations that look better after 15-30mins of wearing it when it really melts on the skin and gives it that beautifully glowy look.. Everytime I wear it, my sister asks me what I have on! Only issue I have with this is that it can feel a bit heavy on the skin.. But a great foundation to have for sure!

Would I Re-Purchase? Yes.

3 - De.Like.Ful

Time to share my likes for the moment...

Korres Wild Rose Foundation in WR4 - This foundation I almost added to my Blog Sale until I decided to give it one more try and I'm SO glad I did.. It's wonderful.. And the reason I didn't like it at first was because I applied it wrongly.. I found that the best way to apply this is using your fingers in a patting motion.. Gives a beautiful glowy finish with medium coverage.. This foundation also contains really good ingredients that help brighten your skin and make it look healthier. (Review)

Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream - This is a really wonderful mild moisturizer that works on all skin types.. It kept my skin hydrated during the cold Scandinavian "summer" and is not greasy in any way.. The texture of this cream is very light and velvety leaving your skin feel matte yet hydrated..

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base - I already raved about how wonderful this base is in a previous post (Review) but this gives an amazing glow to the face and makes foundation application that much more flawless..

Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Balm - This was an eye saver during my Scandinavian trip.. It kept my eye area hydrated ALL day.. It's a balm so it's very thick and the finish is glossy.. Best applied at night but I wore it during the day on my no makeup days.. Full review coming up soon!

MAC Pink Rebel Lustre Drops - I got this at a Lil Lady's Life blog sale.. I've been enjoying mixing this with my foundation to get that subtle sheen..

Benefit Girl Meets Pearl - This I have a small size of and I really love it.. Even more so than the MAC lustre drops as it adds that little bit of an extra glow.. The colour is a warm golden bronze and mixed with foundation, it gives you a beautiful beautiful glow..

Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch - I dab on this primer on places where I have enlarged pores only and it helps make them look less visible.. Been loving this especially on special occasions (Review)

Tarte Amazonian Blush in Tipsy - I have wanted to try this blush for the longest time! And when I did a swap with the sweetest Danielle from Bloomin' Beauty, she was kind enough to get me one.. I was SO excited when I received it and I feel in love with it straight away! Really amazing matte bright peach shade that does not budge all day.. Even in UAE's hot humid weather! I need me some more of these babies!

Dolce & Gabbana 'the animalier' Bronzer - I thought this would be just another gimmick bronzer.. But when I tried it on my cheeks I was amazed at how natural it looked and smoothly it applied! (Review)

Jack Black Grapefruit & Ginger Lip Balm - My lips have been really dry the past few months so I've been experimenting with a lot of lip balms.. And Danielle sent me this one as well and again.. It was love! Really wonderful and easy to apply.. Not too glossy yet extremely hydrating! Plus it contains SPF25 which is great!

Ole Henrikson Afrian Red Tea Exfoliating Lip Salvation - I got this at the airport in Copenhagen, and I loooove the tint it gives my lips.. Not sure how it exfoliates my lips but it makes them feel and look good so I'm happy!

MAC Constructivist Paint Pot - Been using this heaps as an eye shadow and along my lower lash line.. Love it's longevity and the shade is my kinda shade!

MAC Vanilla Pigment - My only MAC Pigment and at the moment, it's the only one I want! It's extremely versatile as it can be used as an eye shadow, cheek highlighter, on the center of the lips and so on.. It's called Vanilla but the shade is a frosty gold.. Really unique! (Review)

Burberry The Body Perfume - Ahhhh at the risk of sounding so cheesy, this scent makes me happy! As soon as I smelt it, I knew I just had to get it! I'm such a perfume junkie.. I wear perfume all the time and this had to come home with me..

Burt Bee's Cuticle Cream - Another product I received from Danielle! Everything she sent me, I loved! I've never had a cuticle cream.. And this, other than the fact that it smells amazing, works great on my dry cuticles.. It's a hard balm that when applied, doesn't have a glossy finish which makes it easy to wear during the day.. It has become a staple in my bag!

Laura Mercier Berry Lip Balm - I've been wearing lip balms instead of lipsticks lately and this gives my lips the right amount of hydration and colour.. Another staple in my bag!

Essie Van D'Go Nail Polish - Seriously how gorgeous is this shade?! I know it's such a summery shade but I just can't get enough of it!

Nail Station Wow Factor Polish - I love this shade too! And with Van D'go it's the most beautiful candy shop combo!

Ipad Games - Haha yes I'm that sad.. I've been obsessed with Plants vs. Zombies and Pictureka on the Ipad! And before you judge, you really gotta play them first =P

Choki Choki Chocolate Fingers - These are one of my childhood chocolates! I love them.. They're so yummy! And I have bought a whole box just for moi! =P

Snowboarding - Living in the Desert and Snowboarding? Haha yes! Thank God for Ski Dubai! The largest indoor ski! My sister and I have been taking up Snowboarding lessons and we've both been really enjoying it! Apart from the frequent booty falls, it's been real fun!

And that's pretty much all!

Peace
xoxo

Smooth Poreless Skin.. For Now..

I'm always on the lookout for something to help hide pores as I know nothing out there can actually make them completely disappear.. So I decided to give Clarins a go and see what they have to offer my pores...

Product

- Mousse-like thick formula which can feel a bit heavy if too much is applied
- Blurs pores beautifully
- Helps foundation from not creasing around the mouth and eye areas
- Long-lasting
- A little goes a long way

Application

- You have to pat the product on.. No rubbing
- Use a small amount at a time and work in sections

Who Will Like This?

- Anyone who has large pores or lines/wrinkles they want to hide
- Anyone who is looking for a flawless foundation finish
- Anyone who wants to prevent their foundation from creasing around their mouth (laugh lines)

Who Won't Like This?

- Anyone who doesn't have visible pores
- Anyone who doesn't like anything that feels a bit heavy on the skin
- Anyone who is looking for something to actually minimize their pores permanently.. The Clarins Instant Smooth is a primer not a skincare product

How Does it Compare to Benefit's POREfesionnal?

- I find that the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch more long lasting and is more effective in terms of reducing pore size

My Final Thoughts: I love how my foundation looks when I apply the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch.. It blurs out my pores and makes them look almost invisible.. I only use this on special occasions as it can feel a bit heavy if worn everyday..

Would I Re-Purchase? Yes.

Review: Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base

My skin has been very dry lately for some reason which makes my makeup application that much harder because the foundation would cling to the dryness and I'd end up looking dull etc etc..

Although I've been moisturizing religiously, when it comes to applying my foundation, my skin still doesn't look glowy and fresh! That's when I decided to pick up the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base...

Product

- Rich formula but once applied it feel very light on the skin
- Gives a beautiful dewy finish without being greasy at all
- Absorbs quickly into the skin
- Oil Free
- Moisturizes really well due to the Shea Butter ingredient
- Full of great vitamins for the skin such as Vitamin A, C & E
- Smells Citrusy

Who Will Like This?

- Anyone who loves a subtle glow without the grease
- Anyone who cares about their skin being fed with vitamins

Who Won't Like This?

- Anyone who is sensitive to strong scents

Would I Re-Purchase? Definitely!

My Final Thoughts: I love that this is enriched with some many great ingredients that help protect and feed my skin.. Also, my makeup application looks so much better when I apply the Bobbi Brown Face Base.. I love that it doesn't feel greasy AT ALL! And the scent, for me, is so refreshing!

My Scandinavian Trip

Hey all..

If you follow me on twitter, you'd know that I've been holidaying in Scandinavia.. It was my first time on that part of the world and it was amazing!

Here are some of the photos from my trip =)

Lovely country.. Lovely weather..

I absolutely loved Norway! Loved the atmosphere.. The nature.. The history and our hotel which was about 600 years old!

Sweden was were we did most of our shopping & it's where I celebrated my Birthday! =)

Although Denmark, Norway & Sweden were all VERY beautiful countries, there's really no place like home.. Even with its stinking heat and polluted air and superficial beauty, the United Arab Emirates will always be the most beautiful place in my eyes..

I shall be back with more reviews real soon! =)

Peace
xoxo

Dolce & Gabbana "the animalier" Bronzer

This is my first ever Dolce & Gabbana bronzer and I'm in love!

Gorgeous right?!

Well, I'm not a fan of animal prints at all, which was why I wasn't too upset that the print was an over-spray =P

So after I brushed the over-spray away with the brush it came with, I was about to enjoy the product!

Product

- Very Soft, Smooth & Finely Milled
- Not too orangey at all
- Gives the most natural warmth glow without looking like you're wearing too much of a bronzer
- For contouring, this is very subtle which I love
- Has tiny gold shimmers that don't show up on the skin much at all
- Limited Edition

Who Would Like This?

- Anyone who is afraid of wearing bronzer as it is natural looking
- My Fair-Skinned chicas

Who Wouldn't Like This?

- Anyone who isn't willing to pay SO much for a bronzer - It's way too pricey but I just couldn't resist!

My Final Thoughts: Although it's pricey, the fact that it gives me a natural bronzed look without looking like I'm wearing a bronzer had me because that makes it the perfect bronzer for contouring! It blends really well and is a great all year round bronzer..

Skincare Product: Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

Dermalogica is one of the few skin care brands that I truly trust. Their products almost always impress me, and the Daily Microfoliant is no different..

I used to use this a long time ago but I don't know why it has been neglected.. When I started using it again, I remembered why I used to love it so much!

Product

- Rice Powder form
- Gentle exfoliator
- Has a funny smell

Application

- You add the powder to the palm of your hands and add some water to it to create a paste
- Then work it on a damp face for one minute

Results

- Instant smoothness and brightness!

My Final Thoughts: I wouldn't use this everyday as it can sensitize the skin.. I would limit the usage to 3-4 times a week.. I still use my Philosophy Microdelivery Peel for when I want a more abrasive exfoliation.. But this is honestly, the only exfoliator I've used that gives me instant brightness after usage.. Love this product heaps.. A must-have for sure!

Review: Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

I've been wanting to try this foundation for so long after reading and watching so many great reviews on it! It sounded so promising and when my sister got it for me from Europe, I was super excited to try it..

However, to my surprise.. This foundation was.. a disappointment...

Product

- Blends ok not great.. You do have to work a little hard with it
- Medium coverage
- A little goes a long way
- Not luminous as promises.. Gives an almost Matte Finish
- Sits in my pores
- Can look drying
- Smells funny.. Has a little chemically scent

Application

- Fingers: Didn't give the flawless finish people were raving about & made me look a little dry
- Sigma F80 Brush, Beauty Blender & MAC 187 Duo-Fibre Brush: Made the foundation sit in my pores

I have tried everything to make this foundation work but it just never sat right on my skin the way my other foundations did.. Guess it's not for my skin type? (Normal to Dry at the moment).. Also, it never gave me that Luminous Silky finish it promises to provide..

I really wanted to love this but I guess it's just not for me..

Blushing Lippies

Because I have too many lipsticks, a large number of them sit in my drawer untouched for months! So one day as I was going through my lipstick collection, I found some amazing shades.. For my cheeks..

I've been really enjoying wearing lipstick as a blush..

And here's why:

- It's Long-wearing
- Pigment is amazing
- Multi-purpose

Application:

I like using my MAC 188 Duo-Fibre Brush to apply them.. I just brush it on the lipstick a few time to pick up the colour then blend it on my cheeks.. I found that using my fingers makes it a little blotchy and not blended as well..
Image taken from Google

Here are swatches of some of the lipsticks I've been using as blush and how they look when blended out.. Oh I do prefer working with matte lipsticks for my cheeks:

MAC Candy Yum Yum (Limited Edition)

Now this is a scary colour that I'm not brave enough to wear often.. I'd wear this to pool parties and that's about it.. But this shade makes an amazing blush because of its cool tones.. Gives a beautiful girly glow!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Lipstick - 01 Stay Rose

I like to dab this colour on my lips for that rosy/berry stain.. And that kinda shade is amazing for blush!

Inglot Lipstick in 231

I really like this coral shade.. Looks especially amazing on my lips when I'm tanned.. But for my cheeks, I can wear it whenever! It's not completely matte like the others, but it has a beautiful luminous finish..

Makeup Forever Rouge Artist Intense - Mat 4

This is completely matte! I love the shade.. Very natural.. It's a dusty rose.. Very waterproof too!

Illamasqua Welt

A beautiful pinkie magenta that gives the nicest "I've-been-out-in-the-cold" cheeks

I won't go through my whole lipstick collection, but you get the idea.. I've been really enjoying this technique.. Especially now in the summer.. And for those who want to use up their rarely touched lipsticks, this is the way to go ;)

Have you tried wearing your lipstick as a blush?

2- De.Like.Ful

So here's my second De.Like.Ful from my De.Like.Ful series..

Oats - I use organic oats to cleanse my face in the morning and it makes my skin feel so hydrated and smooth (Review

TheFaceShop White Tree Snow Exfoliating Cleanser - I like using a gentle exfoliating cleanser at night.. And this does just that.. It gently exfoliates and what I love about it the most is the fact that it actually removes most of my makeup.. (Review)

Dermalogica Antioxidant Hydramist - This has been a skin savior for me during this heat.. It's so refreshing and hydrating at the same time.. I love misting this before my moisturizer and after my makeup.. Keeps me lookin fresh!

Sonicare Toothbrush - I hate things that vibrate.. I just don't like the feeling of it, let alone having something that shakes my jaw.. So for the longest time, I rejected the idea of an electronic toothbrush.. But a while ago I thought I'd do some more research on them and see whether they're worth it.. And after a lot of reading and watching videos, I decided to go ahead and get an electronic toothbrush.. From the first try, although the vibration annoyed me a little bit, I was amazed at how clean it left my mouth! You get used to the vibration.. I don't think it's that bad anymore.. I've been using this for almost 3 months now and I don't think I can ever go back to the traditional toothbrush!

Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation - I've had this for a while now but because of the huge foundation collection I have and the crazy ups and downs my skin goes through, I haven't been reaching out for this much.. This summer however, I've been really enjoying this heaps.. Love the satin finish it gives.. It provides medium coverage and has a really good staying power.. I love applying this with my MAC 187 as I feel it really helps give it that extra flawless finish..

Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation - This is another foundation I've had for a while.. I really enjoy the flawless finish this provides me.. The shade is great for my skin tone.. And it stays put through humidity and heat which makes it amazing for our UAE summer weather! Only issue with this is that it photographs horribly.. Makes you look like a ghost in photos..

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer - I trust Estee Lauder's Double Wear Line in terms of delivering a long-lasting product.. And this does wear well and surprisingly enough, it's not cakey.. I use this under my eyes and on my acne scars and it ain't bad.. It is medium coverage which is why it's not AMAZING for me.. Still on the hunt for that GREAT full coverage concealer.. But this has been my friend ever since I bought it 1 mont and half a go..

Giorgio Armani Master Corrector #2 - I had this a long time ago and used it up.. Then a few months ago decided to re-purchase it as nothing has been workin it's magic on my recent dark circles without creasing.. It's very light-weight but covers my dark circles nicely.. I still apply my Estee Lauder concealer on top of it just to ensure its longevity..

MAC 187 Duo-Fibre Brush - As mentioned above, I've been really loving this brush with my Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation.. I pump a little bit on the back of my hands and pick it up with the brush then work in sections.. Stippling then blending.. Really love this brush and it's so versatile!

Beauty Blender - Now I know many has sung songs about this egg-shaped sponge.. I won't go into too much detail on it as I recently wrote a post on it (Review). But I've been loving this with the heavier foundations like Estee Lauder Double Wear/Double Wear Light & Vichy Dermablend.. Gives a beautiful seamless finish.. Doesn't let foundation cling to any dryness or sink into my pores.. A really great tool to have!

Makeup Forever HD Powder - Now this I have a love/hate relationship with.. Actually it's more of a love/scare relationship.. It mattifies my face nicely without making it look too flat and it blurs my pores well.. However, the fact that it shows in flash photography scares me.. But I do use it when I don't want to add more coverage to my face and it helps keep my makeup on all day (Review)

Sigma F80 Brush - This is the only Sigma brush I have and I'm amazed at how soft it is.. It's a great brush for foundation and powder.. Lately, I've been loving it with powder instead of my powder puff.. And it brings out the great qualities in a powder (longevity & coverage when needed)

Bobbi Brown Taupe Eye Shadow - I wear this almost everyday when I'm rocking a natural look (which is most of the time).. I just apply a little bit on the crease and along my lower lash line and I'm good to go.. It gives my eyes a flattering depth and definition.. Looks boring in the pan but for me, it works wonders on my eyes (Review)

Makeup Forever Aqua Cream #13 - Great cream eye shadow for those who are looking for something that does NOT budge.. Also, it makes any eye shadow really pop! You do need to work quickly with this though as it sets in seconds (Review)

MAC Mulch Eye Shadow - This is my favourite MAC eye shadow.. I've had it for years and I really love it.. Such a flattering bronzy reddish brown.. Very easy shade to wear on it's on or as a crease colour.. Been loving this in combination with the MUFE Aqua cream #13..

Estee Lauder Double Wear Eye liner in 02 Coffee - I love brown eye liners for an everyday soft look.. And this is a great brown.. It's very creamy and glides on very smoothly.. I won't say that it stays on ALL day long in the weather I'm in, but it's been one of the best eye liners I've tried in a long time as it does not smudge or melt off like other eye liners..

Dr. Haushka Lip Care Stick - I throw this in my bag for when I need a simple plain lip balm.. It's great at hydrating my lips.. Only issue I have with it is that it's too glossy for my taste.. But does my dry lips some good for sure..

Clarins Lip Perfector in 02 Rose Shimmer - When I think of this product I think of the amazing smell it comes with.. Other than that, it's very hydrating and for a lip balm, it has a good staying power (Review)

Korres Lip Butter Stick SPF 15 in Rose - This is an almost matte lip balm.. Gives a beautifully berry bitten lips.. Not as hydrating as I would like, but not bad either.. I mainly use it for the lovely shade it gives (Review)

Yankee Candles - I've been on the hunt for candles that smell great without that waxy kinda smell.. And as lovely as Bath & Body Works candles are, they kinda smell waxy which makes me sick.. So I was so glad when I decided to give Yankee Candles a go because they make my room smell great without the candley scent.. Will have to get me the larger jars for sure..

Carolina Herrara 212 VIP, Givency eau demoiselle, Juicy Coutour Viva La Juicy - I'm such a perfume person.. I'm always wearing perfume.. When I go out.. When I come home.. When I go to bed.. I just love smelling good for me.. And these perfumes are all re-purchases.. I love them for different occasions.. I can't describe scents well but I will try.. 212 is the kinda scent I'd wear in the afternoons and evenings.. It's not too strong but not too soft either.. Not sweet nor fruity or flowery.. Eau Demoiselle is such a grown up feminine scent.. I wear this on nights out and gatherings.. Viva La Juicy is my signature scent.. I wear this with everything and anytime.. It's has a powdery scent if you know what I mean.. I just have to always have this in my collection..

The Help - When I get a chance to read, I've been picking up this book thanks to Beauty Scribbler, who is an amazing beauty blogger by the way =) Love the way it's written and how it's been told from the help's perspective.. Can't wait to finish it and knowing what happens.. So much injustice and discrimination back in the day..

And finally, it's Ramadan in the Islamic world and for those of you who don't know what Ramadan is.. It's a Holy month in the Islamic calendar where we fast (no food, no water) from Sunrise to Sunset.. The whole concept is about compassion and doing good.. Because in this month, you are encouraged to help the needy more than you normally do, be connected with Allah (God), and just commit good deeds.. And what I love most about this month are:

Family Gatherings

The Spirituality in the atmosphere

The Night Life

And of course the FOOOOOD!

Peace
xoxo
